Mohammed Shawqi Aftab
Hello, I am Shawqi. I am a computer science graduate from East West University, Bangladesh. I am currently preparing to do a PhD in Computer Science in Gran Sasso Science Institute, under the supervision of Dr. Amir Goharshady. My current interests are in algorithms, formal verification, SMT solving, graph theory, and related areas of theoretical computer science. My earlier research has also taken me into machine learning, cybersecurity, and other areas of applied computing. On my free time I like to do art, play video games, and go on walks.
Research
I am currently interested in algorithms and theoretical computer science, especially parameterized algorithms, formal verification and SMT solving, graph theory, structural graph parameters, algorithm design, and complexity. But I am open to learn new concepts and other directions as well.
